Bluetooth behavior!!

Long time owner, recently trying to drive the car a bit more and wanted to upgrade the audio but having some challenges...

Car: 2007 M Coupe with HiFi System Professional DSP

Purchased a BlueMusic module from Germany and had it shipped (https://www.amazon.de/-/en/BlueMusic.../dp/B0773MX7BG) Installed it in the trunk next to the AMP. On my phone I see the BlueMusic module and was able to connect to it but when I changed input, the unit just hissed!

Second discovery: Pulled out the HU today and saw a white plug zip tied next to the main connector to the head unit. Swapped out the white plugs in the main harness, fired off everything and success, for a second! Music plays out of speakers for one second and it fades and radio takes over again. When I change inputs, it skips over CD like it doesn't see it anymore. For me to replicate the issue, I have to shut off the car and restart and I can reproduce but same results.....

Any ideas? Also any other solutions out there? Thinking of picking up one of these and give this a try as well

so what I ended up doing, because I like hidden and permanent solutions was this.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/353763363518

Plugs behind the head unit and uses the AUX circuit to pump out audio over bluetooth. Sound quality is good (get some hissing when input volume is down) but I am happy with the fix.

I know you've sorted it now but I got one of these
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available but its been excellent since I got it. It acts like it was factory bluetooth. For the most part at least.
