Testing caliper out of car
I couldn't find a kit, looking to test caliper out of car for leaks. Something I can buy or built ? Have calipers Im looking to use but want to test for leaks before I actually fit them on the car. On you tube I saw people pump air in but not brake fluids.. looking to see if thats possible

Bench testing a brake caliper, hmm. I'd think air pressure would work. You'd really want the pressure to be pretty high, then let it sit for a while and look for pressure drop. To be honest I'd be more inclined just to get a rebuild kit and be done with it.

I only asked because my first set of reman calipers leaked, bmw/ate rebuild. I only found out after swapping, bleeding, and test on the car. Ideally I don't want to go through the whole entire process to see if the rebuild is good.
My replacement set of calipers showed up today, I guess Ill go through the whole procedure of swapping out and bleeding. I did found a test kit There's 3 version of this, basically you can hook a caliper up to it and pump it to 3000 psi. I didn't read the entire site but i think they give you a DIY option https://mercedessource.com/store/die...do-it-yourself
