18” & 19” Sprint Line Group Buy Update

With under 19 days left to pledge on both Group Buys, there is still plenty of time left to join our 18” and 19” deals and claim your own set at this incredible price point. The hard work has already been done on the 19” deal and the Max Discount of $400.00 off has been unlocked. The 18” Deal isn’t far behind with 25 pledges left before we hit the max discount. Don’t let early pledgers beat you to your preferred fitment or finish allocation on these deals. Pledge today and share the deal to help ensure we hit the max discount.

Every Sprint Line Forged Design is on sale and included in this Group Buy. Whether you prefer the stiffest Sprint line design in our classic mesh EC-7RS, our lightweight and modern split-5 VS-5RS, or the all new SM-10RS that brings an optimal ratio of light weight and stiffness to an attractive 10 spoke package, we have a wheel for your BMW.

SM-10RS Technical Video

The max discount for both deals have been unlocked and we are down to just one week remaining on both the 18" and 19" Group buys. Be sure to lock in your pledge soon if you’re looking for deep discounts on any of our Sprint Line designs. In the meantime, we’ve had quite a few questions asking how the three members of the Forged Sprint line compare with one another. We hope this new technical video helps to outline these differences and makes choosing your next set of APEX wheels even easier.

We know that the SM-10RS isn’t available yet in every fitment we make for BMWs. If you’d like to see this design get additional fitments in the future, please let us know!

Been waiting 2 months but my set of VS-5RS finally arrived two weeks ago! Clay, polish and waxed them by hand to prep for tires. Should be swapping the tires on this weekend and get them on the m coupe.

Only took this one pic before washing and ran out of daylight. I like it better than the bronze arc8's I had on before.

Very Nice!

I ordered the EC7-RS in 9/10...won't be putting them on till it warms up a bit again on the east coast though

Are you running Camber plates up front? any fitment issues with the 245/40?

Definitely tight, but under normal conditions it's not rubbing. Previously I had stock wheels with 12mm spacers front and back and I'd say the fit was similar, with a slight rub when the wheels were turned hard all the way.

No Camber plates, the Camber was adjusted to about it's maximum stock when I installed the new suspension earlier this year. Not ruling it out, this car is daily driver / canyon carver.

Just finished installing a new set of EC-7RS Forged wheels and Michelin PS4S tires on my 06 Z4M Coupe and I figured it would be worth sharing some pictures of how the fitment turned out!

Here are the wheel/tire specs:

Front: 18x9" ET30 w/ 245/40-18

Rear: 18x10" ET25 w/ 275/35-18

Suspension is completely stock with no rubbing to report while driving or with full steering lock. The front does poke a bit, but I plan to remove the front alignment strut pins to squeeze some more negative camber out of the stock setup to tuck it in a bit until I get camber plates installed.

Rear fitment is perfect at stock ride height. Honestly, there seems to be plenty more clearance to fit a more aggressive 18x10.5" ET22 with a 285/35-18 tire without any fender rubbing issues. That said, the 275's offer plenty of grip as-is, so a wider rear tire wouldn't really be necessary IMO.

Enjoy!

It will rub for sure under max compression, more so the front liner. I have much less aggressive setup and it rubs.

It surprisingly doesn't rub at all, even under full compression. I got one of my bigger friends to ride with me to do some testing and no matter what I tried, there was no rubbing whatsoever front or rear.

i have the same wheels sitting in my garage waiting for spring...

did you do the strut pins yet?

I also have stock suspension and was thinking I'd have to resort to camber plates asap but you are giving me some hope that I may not have to go there quite yet...and just do the strut pins and a fresh alignment...

I have not yet, unfortunately. We have had some tough weather the last few weeks, so I haven't had an opportunity to pop the pins or align the car yet.

What tire model do you plan on running? I think that is going to have the biggest part to play on rub vs. no rub with this particular setup.
