Pic Request - Powder Coated 224's (M wheels)

Now that the tires are off, I'm considering getting my factory 244's refinished. Anyone here ever get them powder coated? If so would you mind posting pics and letting me know what color you went with?

Probably looking to go with something conservative, just not sure what shade of grey or how metallic of a finish I want but maybe you can convince me otherwise

A buddy of mine had his powder coated gunmetal. I think it works if there's enough contrast, so on a white, red, blue or maybe black car. On a silver or gray car, they just blend too well to the paint.

Had mine powder coated a standard silver/gray color similar to the original. Three cautions:
1. Although powder coating is typically considered to be more durable than paint, it is more difficult to spot repair than paint.
2. Compared to paint, powder coating is thought to be less "brilliant" than a painted coating.
3. Make sure the inside of the hole that fits over the hub is taped off when the power coating is applied. The coating adds just enough thickness to make wheel removal a chore.

Here's a link to my car with powder coated 224's.

The color is a satin black with a drop of bronze that comes out when the sun hits it.

Bump anyone else powdercoat their 224’s? Considering anything from gunmetal, bronze to even white!
