The new desing of my Z4 M Seats!!!

Hi,

I bought a Red Z4 M Seats and arrived with the leather a little cracked, also some very used signs, well I didn't want to install them like that in my Z4.

So I decided to put new leather and do my design in them and I am very happy with the result.

Hope to install them this Thursday in my baby.

I am in Mexico city, so the costs compared of USA are very different.

I paid $500 for his work in my seats.

Actually traumrot M seats (so the original leather of those seats by the looks of it) are rare as hen's teeth.

In San Diego, lots of people used to go to Tijuana to get upholstery done. Unfortunately, the cartel violence in the last few years (and COVID) has put a big dent in that.

Those seats were originally non-M Z4 Sport package seats, not M seats.

They turned out looking great, not overdone, just the right amount of customized!

Depends a bit on the country how they were called.
In my country, they were listed as "M sport seats" in the prefl pricelist.

Traumrot of course was never offered in the z4m, so indeed these seats initially didn't came out of a z4m but a (prefl) z4.
The design is indeed a little bit different: the prefl M sport seats didn't have the z4m embossed logo, and had some extra aestetic stitching lines and some had an extra aestetic embossed pattern piece of leather in the backpiece (but that is really rare).
The prefl seats also had 2 varieties of seatbelt guides, this is the thin one (also used in fl seats)
