KW V3 with standard topmounts

Just bought my Z4M and it came on KW V3 coilovers.

i have had a play about with the ride height and rebound/compression adjustment on the rear but a bit confused when it comes to the fronts.

looking at the product on the website there is an adjuster top and bottom of the shock. but due to the standard top mount the adjuster cant be accessed without removing the whole shock ?

question being, can i just drill a hole in the top and get the adjuster extension ?
