What have you been driving on since you had to remove these struts to send to them?

I don't see why you can't put out the denial info out publically, might help others in their future purchase decisions

I've been driving in the city and it has many potholes. period. when was the night simple as that and I had the struts for less than a year and and 15,000 miles worth of driving.

Now making me worry for my recent purchase of PSS10, I just had them install yesterday, but haven't had chance to adjust the height settings. I had bilstein before in the z3m, but I think this are my first coilovers.

btw, any recommandation height for the 4 corners to somewhat balanced without corner weight balancing?

damn the only thing I remember where the damper settings and it was 7 in the front and 10 in the back for the track and in around the city was 5 squared

...this is what I was told:

the warranty claim has been denied. As you can see from the pictures the shocks physically bottomed out so hard it crushed the jounce cap and the recoil from the combination of Damper bump stop, damper gas force, suspension spring, and OE upper jounce ripped the shock apart. As you can see the witness marks on the rod guides of where it made contact with the internal retaining snap ring.

damn .... solid evidence their... sorry bro this isnt a bilstein issue :-( you must have hit a god damn giant pot whole to do that damage!!!

NYC potholes...... they are currently working on a cost effective solution to replace them since I only need the front suspension. besides I really like bilstein
