Replacing my ABS DSC module

Hello,

After a stupid incident on my part, the ABS DSC module has to be replaced. I bought a used module and I am ready to do the swap.

Do I need to program/code the module to fit my car?

The module is off an 05 BMW Z4 2.5. My car is an 04 BMW Z4 3.0

Advice is appreciated.
