Brake Pad Size for M Coupe...
hey... does anyone know what the sizing for the stock pads are? are they just the same as the Normal M3? because i can't seem to find any variation between regular M3 Brakes and CSL Brakes...

The front brake pads are BMW Part #: 34112282995
This part number is the same as the brakes for the M3 CSL and M3 with the competition package, however the straight M3 has different brakes. You can do a search on www.realoem.com and research the same information if you care to do so. |

That's because the brake pad backing plate sizes are the same between the two. M3, E46 330i/Ci, MZ4 Roadster and Coupe, and M3 CSL/competition package all use the same size front brake pad backing plate. The differences between the pad numbers are pad material (Jurid vs Textar) and the actual prong that holds the pads into the pistons since the M3 CSL/Competition Package/MZ4 Roadster and Coupe has much larger piston than the M3 which has larger piston than the 330i/Ci.
