Staggered height?

So, I measured the ride height after my 3.0si was dropped with H&R coilovers. The front was almost 1cm higher than the rear. The independent garage I take my car to said that the front ride height should be higher. That's recommended by BMW. But for aesthetics purposes, I could get it lowered if I wanted to. What did you guys go with? Does it make a big difference if I were to lower the front even more?

Speaking with racers, most recommend a slight rake but end of day do what you like because it won't make a huge difference on street. I would just set it at whatever allows me to drive public roads w/o bottoming out.

He has coilovers though. Just drop the front a little more. It will be fine

+1

Yea just set it to what you want, you bought coilovers so the whole point was to run your preferred height, not BMW recommended.

The idea is that under heavy braking, if the front is a little higher than the rear the car will be more balanced as the weight transfers to the front and the car levels out.

WHS. Yes, and better weight distribution.

But for the street, you can do what ever makes you happy.
