LOL... If swapping pads in 8 minutes is what I see as the most appealing benefit of a BBK, do you think I don't track my car?

With around 30 days on track with the Z4M and maybe 20 more in my ol' 330Ci, I'd say I hit the track quite a bit but I still think the most appealing part is just how quickly you can swap pads! Call me crazy...

Hello Everyone, I have been away for sometime.

Never imagining I would have started such a controversial thread, I do thank you all for your passionate opinions and discussions.

Some pictures have now been updated in my original post.

That is one of StopTech's main selling points.

As you increase rotor diameter, you need to decrease piston size to compensate. Otherwise, your brake torque will be too high and the brakes will be unbalanced.

Obviously this is accounted and engineered for in the ordering stage for each application.
In that case there is no increase of brake torque (force x torque arm), so can someone explain to me what's the purpose of installing a bigger brake.

Why would you need a larger heat sink since you are not putting your brake to work harder?

I got a very large bbk kit when i went ess vt2 blower as my stock brakes melted @ one track outing....... Even these bbk sometimes struggle but have yet to fade on me yet...... If the op has put these brakes on and doesnt intend to track the car, the stock brakes would have been more than enough.....

Stop tech trophy is a beautiful kit.
