No its a bigger 57mm dia single piston, follow the posts made by both dre99gsx and 3002 tii in the Brakes section, NonM Z4 Braking upgrades. With pix, tons of good information here, from experieced hi speed pilots!
A 6 piston E82 or M4 set up would be visually more attractive, but for me it was a spendy option. Using the 335i caliper couple with the 4M drilled rotors front and drilled rotors rear we get the brake performance increase, coupled with the visceral visual improvement , for minimal cost. And very importantly, its a simple unbolt bolt up job
