Can someone talk me through the benefits of this, beyond the basics of weight loss, for your average Joe ...............is this one of those items where you've pretty much done everything else to your car and are just looking for that last tenth...... OR ........ is this for bro's who have a lift at home and homies that love to wash and look at the undersides of cars !?!?!

Thanks in advance........

The weight loss isn't actually that huge ~5kg, but it's important weight in that it's rotational mass that the engine has to work on.
You would hope to feel an improvement in response of the engine due to the loss of inertia in the drivetrain effectively increasing the torque of the engine all other things being equal. I suspect the gains are small though.

The weight is approx 5kg....

Is this the proposed weight savings?

For those that crunch numbers, what does this weight savings equal in gained performance or HP....or KW??

Weight saving is probably even a little less, more like 3kg. Google seems to suggest the oem prop weighs 8.2kg.
Not that exciting is it.

That would be apps 6.5 lbs weight savings which could be significant in a rotating element.

Anyone have the ability to perform the math to estimate the gains associated w/the weight savings of a rotating element?
