The only way I’d consider you OCD is if there’s an Upper Super Duper Hyper Sensitive OCD. Otherwise that is on a whole other level. damn nice job. The great MI weather here I was able to get the oil changed and burn through half a tank in the roady last week in the 80s now we’re back in the 30s/40s and my sinuses are not liking it at all

80's and then 30's....

we live 50 miles south of downtown seattle in a small commercial fishing village (gig harbor) and will never forget the summer of 21 (late june) when it reached 108f.

greetings to the z colleagues!

racerbruce here (aka e93 seattle),

just completed the bms aluminum chargepipe, tial q50 bov w/11 lb spring, bms 6mm vacuum adapter for proper vacuum tubing size to the bov, veracious motorsport high temp silicone 6 mm bov vacuum line, jb+ plug & play boost software device, ngk 2 step colder plugs, dinan performance coils, ftp billet aluminum pcv valve, oem blowby vent hose, vrsf dual cone inlet air filters and bms cabin air filters.

since i bought the car (dec 2022) @ 36.5k miles she has had an intermittent miss @ idle and at low rpm under load (think under 2k rpm); the plugs were allegedly replaced prior to my purchase but not the coils; pleased to report the intermittent miss is solved now; btw all 6 plugs had a very clean and uniform appearance with no soot or oil on them which is good news.

idle is now perfect and she negotiates highway on-ramps to the posted speed limit in a blink.

the n54 is wildly powerful (3 liter, aluminum block/head, twin mitsubishi turbos) and the 335is platform has a ton of m factory components, weight saving aluminum parts and a 7 speed dual clutch transmission (dct) that is reported to create 8 millisecond shifts....it is incredible under wot and the sound of the oem specialty exhaust for the is series is intoxicating:

it is posted on the e9x forum; my 12.5 yr ownership of an 07 z4mr until recently has roots in the z4 forum and connections with fellow z4 owners still; collaboration and common interest in the bmw marque, etc.

more OCD cosmetics....

the rear lower control arms on my 13 335is are aluminum, but they looked unfinished in comparison to my recent OCD cleaning/heat painting of the oem mufflers....i tried to brighten the control arm's aluminum surface but it didn't look uniform, so sanded/primed/painted with a Hammertone Silver spray paint from HD:
