Z4 E85 Transmission Speed Sensor

Hey y'all! This is my first time posting to this forum, and I've got quite the issue with my 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i. It was running just fine this morning when suddenly I started it up and it wouldn't move. Transmission light flicked on, so I grabbed my OBDII scanner from the trunk. Got codes 21 Turbine Speed Sensor P0175 in addition to 31 Gear monitoring. Was trying to research this issue and came across the automatic transmission speed sensor, part number 24341423874, attached. Apparently the code in addition to the speedometer not working properly relate to this part failing. So I jacked up the car and took a look around but I can't find it anywhere. I was wondering if somebody could share a picture or video of where this part is so I can find it, as well as any additional information in regards to getting the vehicle moving again. Thanks!

That sensor sits inside the automatic transmission.
You have to remove the oilpan, fluid filter and valvebody to get to it.

There's also a pulse sensor for the outgoing speed (this one is for the ingoing speed), might be sensible to change that too while you're in there.

Thanks! I was actually going to go change the transmission fluid anyway so I guess it makes sense to do it all at once. Do you have a link to the sensor for the outgoing speed?

Realoem is a great source.
Good luck with your fix.
