Blue Ridge Parkway, 25° F, top down

I drove up to NC from Tampa on Saturday to visit family for Christmas, and decided to do a quick drive on the parkway up to Waterrock Knob. My brother brought along his SLR and strobes and took a few shots for me. We put the top down, seat heaters on, windows up, and heat on full blast. I love my ///M.

Tampa, you live pretty close to me... Trinity here.... (In between New port Richey and Eastlake)

I do that all the time. 36 degrees here the other day had the top down.

btw, The red/red is absolutely stunning IMO

SLR is a camera I take it.....and I drove in 50 degree weather today and it was fkin freezing, but at stop lights i was warm

Although the primary purpose of the top is to keep debris out while you're parked, I've heard it can also be used to keep the driver warm when OAT is below freezing. But that should be a last resort - don't want to do that too much.

My buddy and I took his 325xi to the Blue Ridge a up in NC and it was closed

In the end it turned out great cause we just used his gps and took the back roads, it was AWESOME! those roads are beautiful and lots of fun to drive on.
