Up for sale is my 2007 BMW Z4 M Coupe in Black Sapphire Metallic over black extended Nappa leather with ~87,300 miles. I am the fourth owner of the vehicle, which I purchased in April 2018 with ~77,000 miles, so ~10,000 miles accumulated in my 3 years of ownership.

The vehicle was sold new in March 2007 in California where it gathered 17,500 miles before moving to a second owner in Texas in 2010 who put another ~17,000 miles on it over ~2.5 years. It was sold in 2012 to its third owner in Georgia with ~34,000 miles, where it accumulated 43,000 miles until its sale to me in 2018 with ~77,000 miles. I purchased the vehicle in April 2018 and have kept it in New York the whole time (see CARFAX in pictures).

When I purchased the vehicle in 2018 there was a significant preventative service performed, where most notably the valves were adjusted, the VANOS system was examined and a broken exhaust hub was replaced. In that service, the differential gasket and fluid was replaced along with a review and service of the cooling system. Prior to sale, the dealer (Jim Ellis in Atlanta) replaced the tires with Dunlop Signature HPs, which remain on the vehicle today.

Since acquiring the vehicle I’ve serviced it regularly, with oil changes every year regardless of mileage and all other recommended maintenance items performed. The vehicle has been maintained primarily by M-Chanics of Mineola, New York with occasional visits to BMW of Manhattan as well (see pictures for receipts of services done since 2018, invoice for 2019 routine maintenance visit TBU – waiting on record from BMW of Manhattan but if memory serves they replaced the washer fluid motor and did an oil change). Most recently (June / July 2021) the car received an oil change, had the drive belts replaced and received a new valve cover gasket as there was minor leaking. Additionally, in advance of sale the car has been detailed and all minor dings or imperfections have been addressed, such that the body / paint is looking mint.

On a more qualitative note, this car has been super reliable for me, has never once broken down (let alone stranded me) and frankly is an absolute gem. I love it very much, but am selling as I recently purchased a second vehicle and having 2 cars in Manhattan feels a little excessive. This car was used exclusively on lovely day weekend drives and has a number of memorable road trips under its belt. With the mileage this is no time capsule, but is a fantastic and well-maintained driver that I hope someone buys and has a blast with.

This looks like the black M coupe I ran into 2-3 years ago at Bear mountain. I remember the wheels on that car was the same. I was driving a black m coupe that day too. Lol

Black M coupe, silver MR-2 spyder with a k swap and a black GTR. We use to go there every other weekend.

damn guys I used to go there with my black coupe around the same time. Got a pretty nasty speeding ticket as well ...
