Cup Holders

Any recommendations on cup holders? Only thing I can come up with is the "Ultimate cup holder". Also up to making my own. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you, Mike.

Been using the ultimate cupholders for the last 5 years. Best solution that I've seen. Don't overthink it - they just work.

Not at all for me or my typical passenger. They are quite excellent.

I have had an Ultimate which I use as a driver on the passenger's side for many years. Excellent product.

Yup, ultimate cupholders for over a decade, made in the USA, indestructible, form-able. I'm not aware of anything better

Second this. I've had mine for almost 10 years. I use it on the passenger side. Any occasional passenger with a drink has to hold theirs...

I still use the factory holders. As they fit the beverage you are using, why not just use them? Yes, they are a little fragile, but I've been gentle and they have worked just fine.

Since the OP asked for recommendations, I assume they don't want to use the stock ones, like most others here. I agree, the factory ones work, but they're not the best, they don't hold all sizes of drinks and I wouldn't trust them with spirited driving

To add to this, cold beverages can drip water onto the electrical controls on the driver side door and/or onto the driver's knee/thigh. Same on the passenger side. They are also prone to being kneed when getting in and out of the car, which can break them. Not something that you normally think about when exiting a car. "Oh, before I can get out, I have to take my beverage out of the cup holder and then close the cup holder, otherwise I may end up buying yet another fragile, flimsy, poorly designed plastic cup holder." Even if you're careful, you may forget to tell your passenger, and they certainly aren't thinking about this.

meh92, you may be the first person I've seen that has actually defended the stock cupholders. They are almost universally hated.

My factory cup holders are going strong after 14 years and I like them for small/medium drinks personally. I have also had the ultimate cuphoder for over a decade and really can't imagine not having it for most of the drinks I take.

I’ve had to replace both oem cup holders. I use the ultimate cup holder in the passenger footwell too, they’re less finicky than oem

Ultimate cupholders here as well - never touch the OEM ones anymore and no spills!

Chiming in to say Ultimate Cupholders is the way to go. The fact that they sit on the floor means you don't have to worry about heavy bottles/cups.
