Restoring Wheels?

Want to restore my 224 wheels. I'm not sure whether to have them painted or powder coated. Looking for any help in deciding. Local shop wants $250.00 a wheel to paint. They do top notch work. Just not sure about durability. What does everyone else do? What is the best way. Thanks for any input you may have.

I've had wheels painted and powder coated, if properly done both are pretty tough. I guess I would lean toward the powder coating because it's baked on but with either finishes, prep is everything.

Unless the wheels are bent / cracked $250 seems like a lot. I wouldn’t be surprised if you were taking it to WCC because they tend to charge a lot, but for that price you can pretty much buy a used wheel in good shape.

Cost to powdercoat wheels here in Canada is around 100-125$ per wheel.
That's the option I would go for
