Hesitation on light throttle blip under 2-3k

Hi all , I have a s54 with all needed repairs and service with clean bill of health with oil analysis with 138k on it. She drives strong. I prior had eventuri and SG section 1 and storming no issues. I recently placed the eventuri MAF csl style manifold and don’t think I noticed any issues. I recently installed the sound generator/symposer. Recently on very quick light medium throttle blip it hesitates then revs up , every now and then it will sputter. Today it actually died at idle after 1-2 min. Otherwise runs normal and strong. I did have to install the lip on the karboneous since the elbow kept slipping off. Think the a/f has been thrown off and needs to be re learned ? No engine codes. I think plugs

I have the exact same intake setup, and no issues whatsoever. I did drive it a bit with the stock tune and air filter, after that I had it mapped. But again, it never sputtered or hesitated. I would start by a tuneup based on your mileage.

Clean ICV
clean ITBs
Make sure PCV is not clogged
Change spark plugs

And lastly, clean the MAF if there is grime accumulated on it using MAF cleaner

I have a similar setup with Eventuri and Sound Generator with no issues. Why is the vacuum line unplugged in your pic?

That was just during install pic , it’s plugged in.

Cool. Is the green O ring in the MAF seated correctly? Worth a check…
