I wonder what they mean by "semi-floating" design. The original OEM rotors are true floating rotors. If these are two piece rotors bolted without the friction surface having the ability to "float," then they're no better than the factory OEM rotors AND cost about the same.

Also sounds like you'll need to send the rotor in to have the replacement friction surface mounted once the rotor is worn? Or do they send you a new ring and you bolt it on yourself? Or do they send you a new pair at a discounted price, and you send your old ones back?

FWIW, I have a set of those ECS fronts and these for the rear.
Haven't installed them yet. Hope to get to it this month.

When they wear out, I'll give them to the guy that comes around on Sunday afternoon collecting scrap metal.
