Porsche 996 rear brake conversion rotor question

Hi all,

Those that run a front BBK and the Porsche 996 rear brake conversion...I've seen some cars run a rear slotted rotor. Now researching who makes a rear 328mm x 20mm rear slotted rotor I'm coming up empty. For those running this setup, who makes a rear 328mm x 20mm rear slotted rotor for a Z4M?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a StopTech BBK 380mm x 32mm front slotted package and I'd like the rears to match.

Any help on this would be MASSIVELY appreciated.

I've given up on my original plan of installing M4 brakes front and rear...after prepping my car for winter storage and inspecting the braking system I can see how that is more trouble than it's worth. Looks like the M4 calipers I bought are (and I say this with a grain of salt) going on my E36 project...at least visually it "looks" like it can work...

I was in the same predicament, running the Stoptech 380mm slotted fronts and wanted to match the rears rotor with a 996 caliper. I went with this e46 M3 ECS Tuning rotor and it worked fine. You could problably also go with the Stoptech Gas-Slotted Brake Rotors - Rear. I went with the ECS Tuning ones because the rotor is coated to prevent rust and if you're planning to use the original 996 rear pads you'd get a rust ring. You could also run the front 996 pad in the rear to avoid it but never tried it so I can't comment of the validity of the claims.

Massively appreciated. I remember that one time you, me and another guy went for a quick spin in the Halton Hills your car had matching brake disks. I was looking and all I could see was the possibility of the M5/M3 rear disk being used as Centric also makes a slotted rotor but none of them stated that it was a fit on the Z4M so I was confused. But good to know it works.

I am running the stoptech slotted rear with my 996 conversion. I went with the Cyro rotors and they have been wearing very well!
