2 day old Z4 - harmonic noise
Picked up my new Z4 roadster on Saturday moring, she is a beauty and I now have 74 miles on her. However, I noticed a harmonic pitch when steering right or turning right at low speeds. (1st and 2nd gear) It doesn't happen when steering or turning left. Anyone experience this?

It's a well-documented effect of the electro-hydraulic steering rack found in the standard Z4s. The '02-'06 MINIs suffered from the same noise. It should disappear after a couple thousand miles, as it often does. Or whenever the steering rack decides that it's been broken in.
