Removing ROADSTER rear panel trunk carpet

Please tell me I don't have to mess with the convertible top tray in order to access the fasterners that secure the carpeted panel at the back of the trunk.

I'm trying to install my new Bluebus module and can't get the carpet panel loose enough to access without tearing it.

Search for some installation instructions for "Intravee" or "intravee2" it might yield some useful tips

Such as this link

Helpful DIY photos to get access. Thanks for that.
I guess I missed the memo where we agreed to call the fuzzy cardboard "carpet."
