2006 Z4 LCI 2.5 N52 roadster here. Just turned 160k miles last week. Still pulls like a train and looks like a car half its age

My Z4 Coupe (N52) is at 150k and with 30 track days under belt, 3 track days a year to keep her feeling young, not even any oil usage yet.

2007 Z4MC with 120K. It's my 3rd BMW (had a 2000 Z3 and 1974 2002) and I've had the fewest issues (knocking on the wood trim now), turned the most heads and had the most fun driving it. God bless BMW

A close friend is looking at a 2006 Z4 3.0i, N52, Sport package. 233,000 miles. He talked the guy down to a stupid low price (and I mean STUPID LOW) and we may go get it this weekend. But we'd have to do a rebuild of the motor which would be new for me and only his 2nd. We don't have the garage space though. Between the two of there there are 4 BMW's and 2 hyundais. lol.

Mine has 176,000

Just hit 231K in my '04. Still runs and drives like new. The straight 6 is a great engine when well maintained

Interesting the previous owner got so little miles out of an N52. The N52 qualifies for tank duty.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Our 2003 Z4 has 233k miles on it 2.5 and 5speed manual. We put 5k into new top, rams, motor, control module. It runs like new. Currently swapping out the carpet and installing dynomat. Replacing the damaged front bumper with 06 bumper grills and lights.

We bought it for $2800 in January 2022.

My car had 41,684 when I bought now has 42,394 Yep, 710 since October! Nothing but trouble with this car! First, check the engine light fixed, now the DSC and Brake light, in yellow is on! Nothing but trouble with this car! Will it ever get to 100 K? Not a good beginning! "BMW Bring Money Withya" or "Broke My Wallet".

Also, the light doesn't turn on right away when the cubby is opened, but it will usually come on if I pull the messed up side of the release button back out. Is this similar to what you experienced?
I had the same issues. The latch is made of thin plastic and because the spring pushes against it, it eventually breaks. Knowing what I know now, I would say be gentle with the button.

The good news is they have updated the part so that the latch is much stronger. Get it from a lifetime replacement company if you want to be sure.

Good luck!
