3.0Si Front splitter/lip install

Hi guys. I could not find any other 3.0 with a lip/splitter. So I decided to post some more pictures of mine. I got it installed last thursday and I'm still very happy with it. The fitment was good, however it could have been a bit longer in the back towards the wheel arches. Other than this it was perfect. And I would gladly recomand it! Here is a link to the sight I got mine from. --->http://www.eurotuningshop.com/produk...rd-bumper.html
Picktures is taken with my Iphone 4s, not the best quality.

Here we go.

Fitting

The only mod we had to do was to cut this small groove in the splitter. To keep it from hitting a screw. Otherwise perfect.

Here are the results

Height measured in iphones...

Her is a video of me trying to cross a speed bump... https://vimeo.com/65836893

Looks great! I'm sure it would look awesome with my AW roadster. I agree with ProdigyM. If it stuck out just a little more it would be perfect!

Thank you!

I agree, but it is hard enough to get over bumps as it is. So i think it is the best of both worlds.

Have you got pictures of the side showing the fit at the wheel arches? Thanks

It looks good here, but to make it fit right on both sides we had to move it forward...

This is how it looks. Not too bad, but it could be better.

Thanks for the side pics. Is your Z suspension (ride height) standard, M Sport, or aftermarket (springs Eibach, H&R....)? Also tire sizes? I'm lowered on Eibachs with oe tire sizes, driveways could be a problem.

The 2003-2005 Z4 with the Sport Package is the lowest stock Z4 (even lower then the Z4 M) His car is lower then that.

I run H&R lowering springs. 35mm. My wheels are Lm.reps 235/35-19 and 265/30-19 Et35 front and rear. I need to change my fronts to 225 they are rubbing a bit in the inner wheel arches..

I don't think this will be much of a problem, your Eibachs lowers the car less than mine. (I think 5-10mm ish) And i can still enter ferries and stuff. But too much of a steep angle and you will scrape. But even though it sounds bad i have no marks in myne yet.

Steep speedbump https://vimeo.com/65836893

It sure does. I am very happy with the result. Much angryer, and more racecar-like.
You should definitely look into that

Thinking about it. Compared my iPhone bumper height with yours, looks like you're about 3mm lower than I am. My problem is with steep driveways at work and home.
