The old system rewarded posters with collections of bikini shots and idiots like me who stand out for the wrong reasons. It had nothing to do with their quality as contributors and people who read the off topic have a good grasp on what to read anyway so the system is redundant.

The forum has a few solid moderators and them appreciating posts that actually are informational should be the fair way to sort out the sizes of our penises. That way the balance would shift more towards the reason many of us originally registered here.

BUT, I do think I know what's going on. And those that are Canadians like me will understand this better. Allow me to break it down:

Our beloved (not really) Prime Minister Turdeau just visited India (on the pretense of improving trade relations, but really, it was just a family vacation footed by us taxpayers) and it was an absolute disaster. In fact, the only thing that really came out of his trip was that India decided to raise their tariffs on chickpeas (which we export to them).

So not only did Turdeau epically fail at doing any good, he actually managed to make it worse for Canada. Well done. Round of applause for that trust fund baby who managed to become our prime minister solely based on his last name.

So here's the only plausible explanation I see for us Canadians getting hit harder than our American counterparts...tell the truth Mark - did that Prime Minister of ours somehow sneak across the border and offend you guys and sneak back before we even knew what was going on? And this is the retaliation?

If so, we humbly and abjectly apologize. But you can still have my points.

I lost 4k and I assure I add zero value to the forum especially when compared to people like joekerr who has a long record of disagreeing with everyone here but he is always respectful and bothers to deliver more than an one liner.

I strongly suggest you take this change with the same gravity as Raubake , Belgie and palls. Your value as a serious and respectable poster will increase and jokers will be shamed forever for polluting the forum for being lame.

Interesting - I don't see bimmer456's posts anymore, unless they are quoted. He is the only guy on my ignore list and is really bent out of shape about that I see, since he is still complaining about me putting him there.

bimmer456 - I'll say this once: The only reason you are on my ignore list is the long history of you starting threads with nonsensical drivel which either doesn't make any sense, or is a statement of fact, rather than a legitimate question. If you start posting legitimate, well thought out questions, or just start contributing to other threads with reasoned logic, or create threads that add entertainment to the forums, I'll remove you from my ignore list and happily view your posts.

And if you start doing this, eventually I will see it, because people will appreciate your contributions and quote it, and I can see your posts if someone quotes it - so I'll start to get an idea if you change. Till then, you are staying on my list.

lol you obviously don't read anything outside of off topic discussion forums since you don't even own a BMW and the fact is plenty of folks appreciate my posts in all the forums, both off topic and on. It would seem not everyone agrees with you, I guess as I get more popular there's going to be more haters too, goes with the territory, as I said before I don't mind if people have me on ignore, like it's really going to hurt my feelings. If you start seeing reputation history beyond today in your account then your score is getting closer to the final score. I emphasize closer because we still have to calculate closed and deleted threads

IMHO... I believe this is a good indicator of ones overall post/input value here. Your "Rep Points to Post Count" is a solid reflection of how the members see/value your input/posts. Or at the least, took the time to acknowledge your thread/post.
Previously before this new formula, my rep points were more than double my posts.
