I've had plenty of cars and the Z4C turns quite a few heads, it's a car that really doesn't age in looks. There are few of them so most people have no clue what it is. My wife even comments on how good it looks. I AutoX mine every other week in the summer and it holds up great. Also don't be afraid to look at roadsters. The 2.5i is even a ton of fun to drive, as long as it's the 5spd. Get it in a hot color, looks better that way and stay away from the tan tops and interiors if you don't want it to look dated. I miss mine, shouldn't have gotten rid of it. Don't be afraid of high miles on these cars. Had 145k miles and it still worked perfectly. My coupe has 103k and works pretty well with minimal repairs. Insurance runs about $30 per month on the coupe, roadster was less. Well crap, just saw you had a roadster. Well the coupe is a different car in handling and looks. 370 doesn't turn heads as much. |

I bought both of my Z4s for cheap since they needed some work that I was able to do myself. I'm actually thinking about selling my coupe since I bought a new car and don't drive it anymore. Bought mine for 13k and I'm thinking about selling for 10k but not sure.

I wish, I did do the XHP trans tune that makes no sense to have a stick. It will hold gears like a manual and can shift brutally fast in stage 3. Keep that in mind when looking. You don't want mine, the miles on it are HARD. I drive it like a race car every time. I'm just trying to decide to off load it as is or do a few things to make it sell for more. What hurts it is I got rid of the Xenon headlights and it has clear coat failure starting on the bumpers. New suspension though.

My suggestion is for OP to test drive all the choices and decide. Ownership will differ for each however. At this age, you will have to be open to wrenching to keep costs low. |

370Z is not a car of similar ethos to the Z4MC, not even close.
The non-M coupe may be of a similar type (2 door 2 seat coupe) but other than that I would not cross shop. After all is Nissan V BMW. And I am saying this in a positive way and not being a snub. |

Manual non-M Z4 coupe? Find a way. Only 828 were built for North America.

my mate had a 350z track spec in Oz, nice little car, pretty easy on the wallet, but if you think the interior plastics in the Bimmer are bad? youve got another level of crap waiting for you.
he traded it for a Vantage, much , much better..

370z is a terrible car. I had a 2020 Nismo brand new for a bit, what a disappointment. Even though the car is 2020 its the exact same car for 11 years, barely any difference from 2009.
I would rather have an e46 330ci over any 370z/G37. Nissan's are junk lol. |

Agree with this 100%. Do it. Life's too short, if you go for the 370z it might be 'fun' for a year or two but you'll regret not getting the Z4 coupe when you had the opportunity.

stock for stock, the only thing going for the z4 is its build quality. the 350/370 is the way to go if you plan to do mods to it as you can easily build it for any application. the z4 is very limited due to lack of aftermarket support. if its gona be pretty much stock, go z4. if you want to do lots of mods, go 350/370. |

The plus to that is there’s less crap aftermarket bs out there so there’s less you have to worry asking is this a quality X part. Less knock off brands to sift through so if you’re talking a quality build you know what you’re getting into. Paying higher first rather than cheap 3x.

"Only a Z4C" lol! You need to do some market research. Poke around BaT for recent sale prices on clean 6-speed Z4 coupes. Make sure your dental insurance is paid up...
