OEM Aux inoperative

I just purchased a 08 30si. It has the hifi radio with nav and DSP. The oem aux port won’t recognize any input and never shows aux on the display. I have tried several cables and 3 different audio sources. I also pulled the battery cable off for 30 minutes to reset the radio. Any ideas why no aux input? Thank you

Just a guess but it's possible that the aux cable isn't plugged into the back of the radio.... or the cable has been compromised.

I recall this being covered in previous posts. Can't recall why (thought it had to do with incompatible (?) cable), but you've tried different ones. In any event, search is your friend. Grab a cup of coffee and start in.
