Not sure if this belongs here,

inside the rim wall, there are a lot of gunk.. some are stuck on.. maybe from road construction.. is it possible to say i cant get those off ? it seem like its baked in there. i tried basic brushes.. next step would be steel wool 0000 type

any ideas ? ill try to get pics

To completely clean the inside wall, I had to remove my wheels to do it. Sonax Wheel Cleaner and a brush worked well for me.

I would recommend any product containing orange terpene. The asphalt pavers use this to remove tar.
Gasoline/diesel works to...
