Before I drove the Z to ESS, I got the time to mount my new brakes
This is the parts used: Front: -Original Bmw Performance calipers -Original Bmw M3 CSL rotors -Original Bmw Performance brake pads -Special made brackets for caliper made to fit Z4 Rear: -Original Bmw 3.0Si calipers -PF drilled rotors -Original brake pads -Mercedes E-Class caliper covers Those front performance brake calipers was not a great match to my new paintjob, so I decided to paint them Lamborghini Rosso Mars 3 stage red. As I kept the original rear caliper, I had to do those as well. Rear brakes: Those rear brakes was not that good To get a nice finish on the rear caliper, I grinded them smooth, a work from hell After the pro paint job To give those rear calipers a nicer look, I modificated a Mercedes E-class brake cover After fresh paint, the logo was oversprayed and sealed with some clear coat. New rotors mounted Cover mounted to caliper and spring Front: Before After |

32348035331 for multifunction wheel. The parts are NLA (DISCOUNTINUED) and it looks like there are only 3 sets left in Germany .

Yes, of course
There was no space for the airfilter to be mounted in front of the supercharger. So ESS have buildt a new steel tube before the airfilter, they have also changed the supercharger belt position vs E90 setup. Having electronic steering, it also have a different belt. Can not feel any heat soak, but will try to run a cooling line to the air filter soon. The air have a shorter way into the supercharger now. That gives more power if it's not running to hot. |
