Too bad it's red, not my color... otherwise I'd be calling.

I pinged the guy on FB. That's the real mileage. One owner car, bought new by him. I'm thinking EAG will swoop in.

He had it listed at 35k first but I'm sure he got a lot of interest so he slapped another 10k on top.

Needs to market it much better than that if he wants $45k. Plenty of folks would pay close to that if he actually showed some real interest in selling it.

No joke. Is that an actual ad?

If legit, that is a good price for a one-owner Z4MC with 10K miles. Check out EAG prices for the few they have...

Updated with more photos. Mileage is actually in the 9ks. Not my cup of tea on the interior spec though. Price went up another 5k. I should have drove up the day he posted it at 35k lol.

Nav, terrible interior colors and an unwillingness to sell. Let's see how this goes

He must be getting a lot of interest if he is pushing prices up, clearly those interested don't care about his advertising and presentation skills.

Low mileage or not, I would be surprised if he gets that price given the interior color combo, but it only takes one interested buyer. Either way I wish him good luck.

Another $5k interesting. Best of luck to him although that's getting up there with EAG.

Hope he gets it, I have an 08 (BSM/Blk) with 16k that I wouldn't mind entertaining offers on if he sells this thing for $50k

The interior spec may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I *love* the combo of light sepang with madeira wood.. and it does NOT have nav, a major plus. Eric @ EAG told me last year that non-nav cars fetch as much as $4k more than an otherwise-similar car with nav. Doesn't surprise me. EDIT: it DOES have nav. Yuck. Oh well, a lot of people actually want it for some reason.

But this guy is insane trying to sell a nice, rare car on Facebook. I just sent a link to z4mcoupebuyersguide.com, should get a lot more eyes there.

The whole thing is a bit bizarre, but maybe the owner is not in touch with how to sell this car. Continuing to raise the price without a significant upgrade in the provided information as well as semi-professional pictures is a red flag at this price-point.

The interior combination is certainly interesting, but probably not a deal breaker for anyone looking for a sub-10K Z4M coupe. Nor should the Nav be. Most were ordered with Nav, and some opine that those were not may have been ordered for track use...

Best wishes to the seller. I think he will benefit from hiring a car broker to manage the sale for him/her.

Listing removed at Facebook. Hmm. I'm guessing maybe he's hanging onto it.

The Facebook marketplace add is still there. One of the mistakes is the description of the vehicle states that it has automatic transmission.

Oops!

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but nav vs non-nav was almost an even split. Personally, I wouldn't own one with nav.

Still telling me "this item isn't available any more", same thing I got last night.

Not to sidetrack the conversation, but I'm curious why you wouldn't buy a Nav-equipped E86. When I bought my Z4M coupe in 2007, I wanted Nav because at that point it was up to date and there was no CarPlay, etc. Now I just leave the pop-up screen closed. I don't even think about it.

When I bought my first one new I also didn't want it back then. It was already a dated system by 2007, and the cost for it was hideously high. And I think it just makes the dash look ugly. Adds some additional sound controls, and displays more infotainment info, but still not worth the trade-off for me, 12 years later. Some love it. Personal preference.
