New X-Pipe Option? AFe

AFe had come out with a new exhaust system for our platform earlier this year.

However what I am interested in is what appears to be a new x-pipe option on the market?

https://afepower.com/afe-power-48-36...teel-race-pipe

I personally have not had any experience with AFe's exhaust products other than intakes/scoops.

Since there is next to no online reviews for the above product... Just wondering if any owners on this board whom have by any chance bought/installed this x-pipe?

The location of the X crossover also seems a tad higher than the other pipes on the market (SS, RE.. etc)? What does this achieve?

This doesn't seem like the Z4M x-pipe specific product picture. The ends are not wide enough to mate to the back box. So I'm wondering if they have the real production picture that they can post?

Yeah that picture is definitely an E46 M3 section 2.

Its for the Z4M but its definitely the section 1 piece. (look at the flanges)
They just added the X where the CATs would be.

You would need to run straight pipes back to the mufflers.
Theory is that the closer the X is to the headers, the better it works.

BTW, I have AFe mid/X-pipe on my E92M3 and the workmanship is excellent.

:edit:
They also have a CATed version.
