with the M Badge up on the front grille, the car must've depreciated at least 2k.

According to the AutoCheck report it's a one owner vehicle........unfortunately the report also reflects a collision not long after the original purchase. I guess it depends on the severity of damage and the quality of the repairs. At least the dealer seems to be taking that into account with their price.

Yeah, I saw it last weekend. It was in decent shape--just dirty (as to be expected with a black car). I noticed the accident history when I opened the hood. There was some putty or perhaps a sloppy weld on the LH structural brace that connects the front bumper to main chassis. I did drive it and really couldn't tell anything was amiss. Good power, tracked straight, clutch was good. i guess there's no real way of finding out details about how significant an accident this was?
The salesperson I dealt with (Rodney) was very cool. He didn't try to hide anything and gave me the carfax to inspect (confirming the accident). They've dropped the price 1K now....as when I saw it, it was listed for 28K. |

I'm on the east coast, and might consider parting with my black/black with Al trim Z4M coupe depending on how things develop (I might move at the end summer, and can't take the car with me). 07 with 24.5k miles. 9 months of OEM warranty currently remaining + 2 years of CPO coverage after that. Bone stock car. Clean title. 2nd owner. $32k. I should really start a thread...

Haha cool. Ideally I'd prefer Carbon Black but in reality I'm looking for Alpine White, Space Grey or Sepang Bronze. If I have to get Black Sapphire I probably will though. My other BMWs have all been Jet Black. Either way it seems like you and I are good to go. |
