i actually saw his and got in touch with him, only problem is
that the car has a higher mileage than what im looking for,
theres actually another two white ones for sale that i looked at
and both of them have around 40k on them, there actually
another memeber of the forum selling his with only 25k
but it was too late by the time i contacted him, he's alredy
in process of selling it.

White and Blue are really tough to find. If you do find one, it has really high miles or outrageously priced. Silver and Black are an easier find. I spent almost an entire year looking just for a White or Blue, last year. Ended up settling for a low mileage Imola Red (my 3rd color choice). Be patient...one will eventually turn up. If not, settle on your 3rd color choice like me

jair, it was nice to meet up with u on sat and get to know what u're after. hopefully, u've got a better idea of interlagos on an m coupe! i know of 3 interlagos and 2 alpine white m coupes in texas, but none of them are interested in selling....

patience is key. like xmetal said, alpine white and blue are really tough to find with low miles.

Jair_onsa, I'm right there with you. Alpine white or interlagos blue is what I've got to have. I especially want white with Imola leather. Hopefully we don't start competing over the same car, especially since we are so close geographically. Which one is your first choice, blue or white?

Hey did you buy the White M in San Rafael? I feel like we are stalking the same cars as I am also looking for a white ZC or Bronze. I put a bid in for the one in SF but it sold today and was wondering if it was you. Hope so as I'd rather loose it to someone as obsessed as me for the right car.

no, i didnt buy it sonny, i know it is hard to find a car like the one we want but it'll be just a matter of time, looking back just a couple of months ago there was plenty of options out there, i even saw a white one white red interior which are really hard to come across, i guess we just picked the wrong time to buy cuz everybody is doing the same thing and looking for the same car, time will be our friend on this one.

Totally agree... I only bought my 2006 Z4 last Sept...looked for months for the right one. However my wait netted me a pristine condition one with only 4013 miles on it. Well worth the wait.

I also was trying to find a sepang bronze or alpine white M coupe and looked for over 6 months. I stumbled onto a silver gray metallic with everything I was looking for in terms of miles, options, and warranty, and bought it. I'm glad I did too. I realized after 6 months that I'm probably not going to find the exact color with all the other requirements. In the end, I love the silver gray metallic color.

There are fewer M coupes for sale now than last year. Also, I have seen several excellent condition cars sell recently for $2-3k more than what they were selling for several months ago. This was also confirmed by my car dealer friends who look at wholesale pricing. Could it be that we are reaching the cult level of the previous generation M coupe?

tax return season=car values go up along with car buying power. according to car max, last week is peak season in used car sales

you are right, thats why i said we picked the wrong time to buy, but once again i just have to wait untill this tax return craziness goes away, most of the dealers take advantage of this time, i saw a couple of cars on sale by bmw dealers and they increased the price of the vehicles a couple thousand bucks, just insane.

tax return season follows onto the summer period, where generally better weather, nicer temperatures and a large number of people taking leave (for their children's summer hols) result in higher car sales as well. as an owner, it's definitely a good thing tt values of m coupes are finally starting to go up again

still, excellent value for what u get i feel.
