Big Bite!

Wife gave the green light.. just received the VF570 supercharger. I came in two large boxes.. photos of unboxing. Lots of stuff.. this will be bigger install than anticipated. I will say though, thoroughly impressed with quality of build. Really first rate. From excellent machining to the custom formed hoses.

Looks good! Welcome to the club!

P.S. It frustrates me to no end that Vortech puts such tiny pulleys on their superchargers.

Progress..

Thanks guys! Been working on few hours a day since Tuesday. About 3/4 done. Just need to mount manifold, supercharger, fill fluids, apply programming. Put some stuff back on. With any luck. Will finish tomorrow. Posting a few pics for those who are interested.

Complete!

Finished. Major issue with bottom super charger bracket bolt.

I should have read Rated M Roadster vf570 post more carefully. Spent two hours trying to get bolt in. Impossible. Read Rated's post more carefully. Opted to pull and drop front subframe. Wish I knew this earlier.. would have made many other things easier.

Minor issue with one of the screws on a band on manifold blocking throttle assembly. Car ran poorly.. then died under any load. Found issue.. runs like a champ now. Very please.

Congrats on the kit and kudos for taking care of the install yourself! Very jealous over here. Don't know if I'd recommend keeping the car lifted by a cardboard box though
