Olivine Green Metallic '04. Missing lower front grill, but that'll get fixed soon.

Wow, big changes after 5 years of being stock! Sure feels good and is addicting, huh.

Out of curiosity, why the tinted headlights and taillights? Doesn't this just impede your ability to see (and others' ability to see you slowing down)?

Is this on Angeles Forest Highway north of Upper Big Tujunga? Or on Angeles Crest?

Why? I was never a big fan of the headlamp or taillamp design, to be honest. The headlamps are currently being changed to yellow with a CF eyebrow. Neither was really impeded much by the tint anyway. The HID bulbs are plenty bright.
And yeah, once the mods started, they just kept comin'. I'm happy with all the mechanical mods, they've turned the car into an absolute beast!
Photo was taken on the Angeles Crest Highway, I'm there 2-3 times a week.

I'm biased, but I have to agree. I chose the roadster for this reason, as well to get closer to that noise (CSL headers + Evolve carbon airbox on mine). I think the aero skirts go a long way for Roadsters, more so than the Coupe.

Right on! Angeles Forest is practically a second home to me, I know those mountains very well.

Doing us Interlagos Roadsters proud! This looks fantastic.

And to add to this thread from my end:

Got the idea from AriuSen and his pic in another thread.

Unpopular opinion, but I agree
There's something just so classic about a Roadster. While I have no problem with the way it looks with the top up, I do agree that the Roadster provides just as much drama as the Coupe does when the top is down. Those gorgeous seats and roll hoop just provide a level of aggressiveness IMO.

Agreed!

Did a double take on that one - at first look, I thought "Hey - who posted a pic of my car?!!"

On second thought, its probably more accurate to say that the Roadster with the top down looks just as good as the Coupe. Its kinda like picking between Miss July and Miss August - both totally awesome and it all comes down to personal preference.

You know what, cheers to that. I will absolutely agree with you there. They're both seriously wonderful cars.
