Hey guys, just got back from 2 weeks on the Canadian East coast

Here's a little teaser vid of some of the roads we experienced.
Excuse the quality... the co-pilot wasn't too steady with the hand held.

This was a ~360 meter descent down Smokey mountain in Cape Breton.
It was an early a.m. run, so not too aggressive on the cold pavement.

thanks for posting that, looks gorgeous! as much as i'm aware u were treating the slopes and roads with respect, how does the m handle up high though? i'm wondering if it starts choking at altitude without any forced induction.

How high does it get on the Canadian east coast?

IIRC the highest spot we hit was about 380 meters (1250') the M ran perfectly.

I think North Mountain is about 445 meters, but what does a few meters matter. It was formed 1 billion years ago.

Great post.

Wow, great scenery, great road. It reminds me a bit of the PCH in CA between San Simeon and Point Lobos. Looks like a real fun road cut out for the ///M.

^ Having driven PCH I agree, there are definite similarities

Here are a few pics in no particular order.

Wow. We had plans to see all of the USA--making pretty good progress--but now I see we've been too limited. Canada needs to be on our list as well!

Very nice video!!

And those are some dandy photos too. I think that Rick F's standard for photography is starting to rub off on folks!

If you ever get over to the Rock (i.e., Newfoundland - any further east and you'll have to drive on the left side of the road and change yer dollars for euros) look me up. It would be cool to line up a group of Z's and ZM's with plates from different provinces and states!

Cheers!
