inTgr8r - not to jack your thread, but I noticed you had a scissor lift. Which brand is that one? Happy with it? any issues?
Thanks

its an Atlas from Greg Smith Equipment.
It has been everthing I expected with zero issues. As with all lifts there are compromises with the various designs. a scissor is not the best for working under the middle of the car, but workable. working on everything else is great.

One of the best homemade diffusers I've seen. Can't stand the new trend of people putting those cheesy aluminum diffusers on. Props for doing a proper looking one.

Hello inTgr8r, that's a sweet setup. I've got a little bit of experience working with Lexan, so once I get my car I think I may try something like this. Just had a quick question about fitment.
It looks like you're using a series of tiny "L" brackets to hold the vanes in place. What I can't see from your pictures is how you attach them to the bottom of the car. It doesn't look like you're using a base plate, it looks like the brackets are attached directly to the underside of the pan. What did you use to attach them? Tiny bolt/nuts? Did you remove the rear pan to attach? I have access to a rivet gun, do you think rivets would be feasible? Again, big fan of this mod, and you've got a great looking car as well |

Yes they are bolted directly to the pan. I thought about pop rivets but used bolts with washers on the backside. The holes are elongated to allow adjustment of the fins.

Man I just keep coming back to this thread.
The design fits these cars so well. You really nailed it IMHO.

Bumping this even though I am pretty sure you don't run it on your car anymore!
A couple quick questions, as I love the way this looks! Are all 5 vanes parallel? Looks like it from pictures. Any estimate as to the heights of the "taller" rear end of the vanes? How much ground clearance with this height of vane? Any issues rubbing going over bumps/inclines at an angle? |

I will be updating this design soon, but to answer your question;
They are equally spaced, but not parallel they follow the oe under tray. plan is to do a GB on these eventually
