the (!) light is on red on my dash board i dont have the manual booklet so i was wondering what that light means? please let me know thanks alot

TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) warning light. Check for a flat or low air pressure in one of the tires.

Once your sure the tires are fine, press it again when going down the road and it should reset it and clear the light.

press what? sorry i had the light as well and filled up my tires the other day, thought it would just go away. is it the s/r button?

No, not the s/r button. There is a dash button (!) near the DSC button. Once you know the air pressures are correct, press that button and hold it in for ~5 seconds. Then drive off, and the light should go out within a couple of hundred feet or so.

dumb question.. but do you have aftermarket wheels that do not have the TPMS?

There should also be instructions on how to reset the TMPS on the inside "well" of the drivers door on the sticker that tells you tire pressure information.

Mines came on today because I have a nail in the tire. After adding some air, the light went away. BMW advised to hold the tpms button near the seat warmer down and drive off. It should go away.

What about the nail? The system warned you, and you are trying to do a work around? Or did I miss something?

while filling the air, i found the nail so i drove to a tire shop and got the nail removed

haha yes they did. i got them to make sure all four wheels have 30psi as well
