falling in love all over again...
i picked up my car tonight.... back to normal, no rasp, no rattle... just the sweet sound of the engine...
 btw... one of the SA's i spoke to said they have had two other Z4Ms in complaining of engine rattles... one he new was a 2006 for sure. i know there was discussion of weather or not our 2006 engines had the new updated sprocket bolts. in the tech notes section of my work order it says "replaced both the intake and exhaust cam sprocket center bolts with new style torx bolts"... looks like some 2006 motors have the older defective bolts. |
