Damn, all these good reviews on the h&r are making me second guess my opinion on them. I had them for about 2k mi begore swapping to kw v3s. The ride was amazingly harsh and front end felt like a jet ski going over choppy water. But perhaps the ride height was too low and it was sitting on the bumpstops. I literally got high Beamed every night bc my headlights were bouncing. As for the v3's, the ride was better than stock but I found the springs too soft for my tastes on the track.

I'm debating between the clubsports or the h&r rss for less than half the price, for my boss. This thread gives me hope

I've got a non-M. Anyone else out there with a non-M who can compare between H&R and KWv1 or even KWv2?

Which H&R coil overs are you guys getting? I'm sure they've got more than one set. Is it the street performance coil over kit you guys are referring to?

I was right around 2.5" fr and 2"rr. Not the ride height I wanted but that was their preset and I was too lazy to readjust after I felt the ride quality. I just wanted them off.

Yeah I had the KWV3s on my M3 and ran the H&R on my Z4 and to me honestly they felt the same on the road. More adjustments with the KWs but the ride at over a 2 inch drop was similar IMO.

Good to know that I was wrong! I just ordered the rss for my boss At half the cost of clubsports, it's worth the gamble. besides, I can't get over the fact that kw still uses antiquated twin tube shocks over monotube designs

Thanks for sharing your experience with the two. Looks like I'll be getting the H&R coil overs.

Now that I am keeping my E92 M3, I am going to order a set of H&R Coilovers with EDC box. They are the same price as the E86 M setup. Probably going to order next week and lip is on the way. I am going to slam the heck out of this thing like the Z4MC and E46 M3.

Tuner Motorsports just changed their site so there was some confusion. Honestly still going with full H&R coilovers and I have EDC. I can care less if an error comes on my screen with them on. Thats what black tape is for unless it won't let you drive the car. lol

I have H&R springs on my M3 now but need to go 1 inch lower in the front and rear.

For the Z4M these are the way to go. I would go with these in a heartbeat again.

Been lurking...

Just want to make sure, these are the H&R Street Perfomance Coilovers? if not, what ones are they? I've been saving money and after taxes and all I'll have money for mods when I get my baby back and if I can save some money on these things I can get more mods! lol
