Sorry for resurecting such an old thread but it sounds like several of you know what your're talking about pertaing to the H&R spring set-up. I have a question pertaining to my Non-M Z4 3.0i and H&R springs. I just purchased the H&R springs for my car, do any of you know if a 15mm pad (or any size for that matter) is recomended for Non-M's to get it leveled? I would rather go spend the extra couple bucks on the pads now and and install it now rather than doing an instal and not being happy with the appearence or performance and have to go back and play with it again. I know most of you guys own M's so you might not be able to answer but I am not even familar enough with these cars to know the difference between M and Non-M suspension components. Thanks

you dont need a pad with the non-m. it will sit lower overall than a z4m with h&r's as well

I also ordered a set of H&R springs for my non-m z4 coupe. Will I need to get anything to make it look more slammed? Just wish I could tuck my tires a little. I am running 19's right now and want to get it as low as I can. Thanks.

roffle you get those perches put in the front? looks interesting to put those on and then pull the rear pads. Do the rear springs run ok without the pads?

I just installed my H&R lowering spring today and I dont found it that stiff like what other users' feedback, actually I found it just like OEM feel with nice drop tho. is it because the spring not fully settle yet or our oem spring was stiff enough that I couldnt make a difference?

some pics here

Those lowering perches are not compatible with the z4m. Not sure about the regular z, but doubt it. U need some sort of pads, and the oem are very thin anyway

Anyone else have pix of non-M's with the H&R springs? I'm having trouble justifying the H&R Coilover set for my "beater."
