Car cover pricing?
Sorry if this is a weird place to post this. I have two car covers for the Z4 Coupe, one grey factory one in the BMW bag and another blue one that I'm unsure of the brand of. Does anyone have an idea of what a fair price for these may be? I couldn't find any recent sales and I'm not sure what to do with them. Thanks in advance for any comments. Car Cover
I might be interested
Can you check for a part number, maybe on a cover label - 82-11-0-417-600 ? Is it new condition or used. I have seen people selling their Z4 cor covers for ~$100 |

The BMW OEM outdoor car covers go for about $160 (before taxes) NEW. I recently picked one up from Ebay (see link below) after shopping around extensively. Wish you posted earlier!

A fair question I don't have an answer to. I'll take the covers out of their bags this evening and see if I can find some more info and maybe some part #'s. Thanks for all the info so far. |

I just bought the OEM car cover for my Z4 (roadster and coupe seem to be the same exact cover) last month. Cheapest I found was $185 with taxes and shipping, brand new. It is indoors and outdoors according to BMW.

Dragged out the covers this evening. Hard to take a good picture of something so large and shapeless but here we go.
The BMW cover is 82110151198 which has been superseded by 82110417600 It's in good shape overall, no rips or tears, doesn't smell moldy or anything weird and the little license plate window is nice and clear. A bit dirty on the inside? (not sure which side is which) but no major stains or anything concerning. The last pic is the best one I could get where it looks like it may have had some leaves or something on it. The other one I have looks to be a generic one by Budge? It's actually in great shape. There is a tiny pea-sized stain on it in the upper left of that pic but otherwise it looks really nice. Unfortunately I think it's mostly worthless, but it's mostly worthless in excellent shape at least. If someone wants either one just met me know, I'll take $80.00 plus shipping for the BMW one, and literally anything for the Budge one otherwise I'll just trash it. (or make horrific matching family ponchos out of it) |
