Ummm...rod bearing issue was NOT solved in the Z4. In fact, it may have been worst in the Z4 than the M3! I like how Jack "BMW" was so confident that this particular example does not have the rod bearing issue - most likely a bunch of BS fed to him by EAG

The rod bearing problem certainly became less of an issue with our S54 4M engines, in that it had been identified, and corrected. Our cars did not get the recall either that the earlier M3's got. Think it was a faulty composite from the shell manufacturer.
Most if not all owners are aware today that the engine and oils must be up to temperature before any vigorous exercise. No more than any other high performance engine of that era, its prudent preventative maintenance. Part of the ownership parcel.

And this chassis, and the Z4 as well, 2006- 2008 are fitted with the Getrag GS6 37BZ/DZ gearboxes, NOT a ZF unit.
Interesting video, always interested in seeing how the "experts" rate our cars!

Wow! what was more surprising and fascinating to watch in this video was how bone stock this car is! No intake, exhaust, tune, supercharger, not even a ZHP knob... Sounds great, looks great, and appears as if it handles great!

If you buy a car from EAG that is likely how it comes. They normally remove all aftermarket parts. Across town from me and I when over there I occasionally like to see what they have in stock -
