Z4M roadster prices- prepping the car
Well, I have had the joy of driving my roadster for the last 6 pls years, but it is that time has come where I will be letting it go as I move to a different stage in my life.
I am looking to a bit of help in determining where prices have been lately in order to find a fair spot of how to price this beauty. I have sold on BaT before but I am not sure if that's the route I want to go with this car; so perhaps offering here first may be a good first step. I will do a full write up and video once I get back to Houston after the holidays as I prep the car for an early spring sale. 2006 z4M roadster (Black/ Imola red) 38,000 miles Texas car all its life, Houston / Austin. Most recent service was inspection 1 with valve adjustment and I had Vanos done while they were in there. All real diff bushings were changed/upgraded. Liqui Molly oil changes every year Blackstone analysis shows a very strong and heathy engine Seats are pristine and it is a non-Nav vehicle Stromung exhaust .... I will have a full write up soon.

I paid $17,500 for my 2008 BMW Z4si in October this year. It has 41,000 miles on it and a clean Carfax report. The price of used autos is just plain crazy nowadays! I sold my 2015 VW GTI to buy the Z, paid $15,500 four years ago, and sold it for $16,000!!! As pungo said 20s sounds about right. I could NOT find an "M" anywhere.

Sorry for the late reply, just getting back to Houston and settling back into my normal work routine.
Engine & suspension is stock, added AFE CAI, APEX Wheels, and Stromung exhaust. Those are the only tasteful mods. Before the holidays I had ABR here in Houston do an oil change (I send for an oil analysis at every drain, always coming back strong and favorable, all documented), valve adjustment, vanos, and go thru the car entirely. I was going to start creating video and taking stills this weekend before I place the vehicle up for sale. Let me know if you have any other questions. Andy

Hello ZPOST Forum folks.
I bought this car from Andyh1 . I had been looking for ~ 7 months ever since I drove a good friend's last July and Cupid struck me with a Z4 M-tipped arrow. I have had a Triumph 67 TR4A and a 2012 Shelby GT500 convertible. This Z4 MR seems like it could be the love child of the two! Anyway, I'm glad I waited for this one. The. One. It really was destiny I think (car was born 1 day before my birthday...3/7/2006...would have really been spooky had it been 3/8). So many things lined up. Andy and I could be long-lost brothers, and it was easily the most enjoyable car buying experience in my life. Andy is a true gentleman. He answered every question, provided every photo, gave every instruction and maintenance record to ensure this wonderful little German rocket continues to be pampered and well taken care of in the same fashion as he did for 6+ years. I'm super happy that I am fortunate enough to be the next caretaker of this automotive gem. I can't wait to see what you replace it with Andy, and I wish you the best (even if it is just a first car for a teenage driver!). I could only hope for all new forum members that they could have such a great experience. Even a short drive today was ridiculously grin-inducing. Well, I'm off to about 20+ hours of detailing the next 3 days after she took a ride on the auto hauler. People who know me, know my car OCD and desire to polish every bolt, nook and cranny have no equal. Here is a picture from purchase day. I look forward to spending more time here. Chris |
