Console Part ID Help
I'm trying to figure out part #'s for some console parts that I'm planning to replace. I figured out most of them, but there's one particular spot giving me trouble. See the pic.
Here's the Real OEM diagram, which doesn't seem to contain this particular piece of plastic: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_4931 Any thoughts?

That's the "handle recess" #21 in the schematic.
I'm not sure if the center piece (grayed out part #12 in the schematic) is sold with #21 or what.

Did you end up buying these pieces? I have a few scratches in the 'center console' and it looks like it might be pretty cheap to replace (as opposed to repair). Did you need parts 21, 12 & 9 from the diagram? Any others? Last edited by cbecker33; 01-15-2020 at 10:10 AM.. |

I can attest that pulling those plastic trim pieces, sanding and painting is a complete PITA. I did that for my steering wheel trim and it took forever to re-glue broken pieces, sand them and re-paint. I believe the pieces that you need are accurate based on that diagram: 21, 12, 9. Plugging the PN's into ECS usually gives a better visual to confirm. -Mike
