If will be fun if Red Bull do actually give the nod to Perez for 2021 (about which I remain unconvinced).
Perez is clearly capable of wining races in a competitive car like the Red Bull and should give Verstappen a bit of a fright.
On the fun side Perez is definitely a driver who doesn't mind crashing into his team mate if he is in his way.

Sure, some teams (especially Ferrari and Red Bull) do exploit the grey areas of the regulations...but sometimes the wheezes they discover are not hidden well enough.
You would have thought, for instance, that gaining extra bhps by gaming the fuel flow regs would have worked better if they hadn't shown such extra top speeds. If Ferrari had run more downforce rather than show extra straight line speed maybe it might have passed unnoticed.
Similar Red Bull with their flexible front wings...having to put titanium skid plates on the out side edges of the front wings which caused them to spark like crazy at high speed rather gave the game away.

Interestingly Mercedes have avoided getting involved in such chicanery...but I guess when you have "lucked" in to a great design early doors it rather negates the need to look for benefits from the greyer area of the spectrum.
