100% they will add a manual in the next iteration, what a blunder.

Fake Vents
ZF8 speed instead of a DCT (doug calls out how bad the zf8 is which i agree with)
Less HP than the Z4

I mean its basically a reskinned non-comp M2 lol. Except oh you get the adjustable dampers so you can be comfy in your autotragic sports car.

Its not a supra.. its a celica. But its a very good celica (once they throw a manual in)

Still hoping for a future supra with FT1 body work, functional vents, S58, carbon ceramics, and a 6 speed.

They should have never reveled the prototype and then come out with the actual one looking like such a lame iteration of it.

This thing never had a chance....it was mocked as soon as it was reveled what it actually looked like and the power numbers to go with it.

Kinda like some of the girls at my work when they post their pics on snapchat and instagram vs reality

I think there was a $6k delta between my Supra build and my M2C build.

The M2 is more versatile with a bigger trunk, more interior storage, and it has back seats. It also has a better dealer experience.

The Supra is attractive because it's less expensive and a newer model than the M2. The TRUE sports car configuration, with Active Cruise Control (not available on an M2C), and room for golf clubs. Add in the BMW drivetrain and electronics and it's tough to say no.

I'd probably be putting a deposit on a Supra when I can absolutely confirm I can fit a set of golf clubs inside. My biggest reservation is it would be tough to have a Supra as my only car.

Towards the end he was able to do 0-60 in 4.0 seconds, and the 1/4 mile in 12.5 seconds.

The supra gets adaptive dampers and only an automatic trans from the 340i. Not even the M DCT. also get the 340i B48 engine

The M2c gives you a choice of M-DCT or a 6 speed and has fixed dampers. and a true M engine with the S55.

At the track event Guff reported that Tada-san said that they are testing a MT. Time will tell if we actually see it in showroom floors.

Best of luck, let us know how you like it if you go through with it. As for clubs, doubt it'll be a problem, but looks like might you have to put the bag in base first then pivot around. For the record, I was able to fit 2 full bags in my S2000. Just had to pull the fairways out first, lay them on top, and the drivers have to ride shotgun with the passenger. Supra shouldn't be a problem.

I guess Doug is omitting Lexus badged cars, since the new RC-F Track Ed does 0-60 in 3.9sec. I think he is right, it is the quickest car ever sold wearing a Toyota badge.

Car & Driver tested it at 3.8sec.
