Fixing previous owners decisions
So I've had the car for a few months now and I've been wanting to change the front end.
I knew there was some kind of damage and he just didnt want to take the time to fix it properly so he put this race mesh stuff in there. I hated it, but the car checked out and drove great, and I was able to bargain a GREAT deal so I accepted it as it was. In the back of my mind I knew it would be one of the first things I fix. After searching for aftermarket bumpers, I wasnt ready to drop that much $. I think this is a good interim fix. Let me know what you think! Before - mesh lower grill and oem kidneys, good bit of damage to the lower bumper lip After - black kidneys, OEM lower grill, (still waiting for the undertray from ECS), and I used plastidip to 'paint' the lower lip and cover up most of the damage. I was unsure if I should follow the body line to the edge, but I kind of like it this way more from a distance. Bonus - plastidip can be peeled off so its easily removed |
